Thirugnanam International Senior Secondary School, Srimushnam marked the 79th Independence Day celebration of our nation on 15.08.2025 with freaking pomp and show. Respected Chairman, Dr. Kanur K. Balasundaram M.A., M.Ed., Ph.D., hoisted the national flag and received the royal salute from the contingents during the march-past. Following various drills, spectacular dance and thought-provoking skit presented by the students of different grades, the Chairman addressed the gathering highlighting the significance of the celebration. As Independence Day message, he asserted the students to be away from electronic gadgets and focus only on studies. Prior to it, the winners of Olympiad exams were honoured by the Chairman and the Vice-Chairman, Mrs. Anbumathy Baladundaram, B.Sc., presenting certificates and gift vouchers. The celebration culminated with the national anthem followed by sweet distribution. The able guidance of the Principal Mrs. Linda Alexander, M.A., B.Ed., made the celebration a successful one.
